Polityka cookies
Jakich plików cookie używamy i jak zarządzać zgodą
1. What this policy covers
This Cookie Policy explains how Wensday Invest Sp. z o.o. (trading as ElectroQuell) uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, pixels, tags, SDKs) on www.electroquell.de, what they do, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal data in general.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are either set by us (first-party cookies) or by other companies whose services we embed (third-party cookies). Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser; persistent cookies remain for the lifetime stated in the table below. Similar technologies such as tracking pixels and browser local storage are treated the same way in this policy.
3. Legal basis and consent
Storing information on your device, or accessing information already stored, requires your prior consent unless it is strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested. In Poland this follows from Article 399 of the Electronic Communications Law (Prawo komunikacji elektronicznej) of 12 July 2024, implementing Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC. Where cookies involve personal data, the GDPR also applies: strictly necessary cookies rely on our legitimate interest or on the contract with you (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR); all other cookies rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
When you first visit the Website, a cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose by category. Non-essential cookies are not set until you consent. Your choice is stored in a consent cookie so that we do not ask you on every visit. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page; withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it.
4. Cookies we use
The cookie banner shows the complete, automatically updated list of individual cookies with their exact names and lifetimes under "Cookie settings". The categories are:
| Category | Consent | Set by | What it does | Typical lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Not required | ElectroQuell (first party) and our consent tool | Session handling, login, shopping cart, language selection, security and bot protection, storing your cookie choices | Session to 12 months |
| Functional | Required | Third-party services we embed, such as a video player and website chat | Playing embedded product videos, running the chat window, remembering preferences | Session to 12 months |
| Analytics | Required | Google (Google Analytics) | Aggregated statistics on visits, pages viewed and how visitors move through the Website, used to improve it; IP addresses are truncated | Up to 2 years |
| Marketing and advertising | Required | Google (Google Ads and Shopping), Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn | Measures whether a visit or purchase followed one of our advertisements, limits how often you see them, and allows us to show relevant advertisements on those platforms | 90 days to 13 months |
Third-party providers may combine data collected on our Website with data from other sites. Their own privacy policies apply to their processing: Google (policies.google.com/privacy), Meta (facebook.com/privacy/policy), LinkedIn (linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy). Some of these providers transfer data to the United States; see section 6 of our Privacy Policy for the safeguards used.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
In addition to our cookie banner, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Instructions: Chrome (support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647), Firefox (support.mozilla.org/kb/enhanced-tracking-protection-firefox-desktop), Safari (support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-sfri11471), Edge (support.microsoft.com/microsoft-edge). Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the shopping cart and checkout from working. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com and www.youronlinechoices.eu.
6. Server logs
Independently of cookies, our web server records IP address, date and time, requested page, referring page, browser and operating system in log files for security and troubleshooting. Logs are kept for up to 90 days on servers located in Germany and are not combined with other data, except where needed to investigate an attack.
7. Changes and contact
We update this policy when we change the tools used on the Website. The date at the top shows the current version. Questions: info@electroquell.de.
